A twisty and utterly binge-worthy psychological thriller

His ex sent me a letter. I thought she was dead.

Emma’s life has been perfect ever since she met Benjamin. Behind his kind smile he’s not just a successful surgeon, but a devoted father to his daughter Lily. As she wakes up beside him in their king-size bed every morning, Emma can’t believe he only has eyes for her. She even feels like she’s finally helped him grieve the tragic death of Lily’s mother.

But then the first letter arrives at Emma’s desk at work.

A pristine white envelope with flawless calligraphy inside.

To Benjamin’s new wife,

With love from,

The wife he killed…

An addictive, jaw-dropping psychological thriller from multi-million-copy bestseller Willow Rose. For fans of Tess Gerritsen, Freida McFadden and Jeneva Rose.

This one started out with a bang and held my interest the entire story! The fact that Willow Rose kept us in suspense for so long was an experience in itself! Every time I thought I figured out who the culprit truly was, something happens that made me quickly doubt myself! The story took many turns before the big reveal and it was definitely worth the wait! The narration was great in the audiobook, I have listened to several books narrated by Madeline Pell and she is becoming an auto-listen narrator for me. Overall a great domestic thriller that makes me want to dig more into this author’s catalog!

Quite boring. I skipped through several chapters and was able to still catch up on the storyline much like a soap opera.

Too drawn out.

The overall plot was an interesting idea, but one, the narrator read so slowly that I had to play it on 1.5 so I would not fall asleep. The first half of the book the main character is a little irritating to me, the ending is as our others have said a little too convenient. It was just OK.

story idea was okay but overall it was just, meh.
