Wish there were “Master at War” books. This has been a very good series to read.

Historical Fiction at its Best

Another excellent book in the series. Historical fiction is my favorite genre. The author is the Best writer of this genre that I have read.

Long Live Thomas Blackstone

I’ve waited a very long time for this book to be released! This is definitely one of the best series of all time and is my personal favorite! David Gilman has done a masterful job in this amazing series. Guess my only complaint is that it was shorter than the other books, I finished this book in a day and a half. Ready for book 9 already!!

Why did you change the narrator for the series????

You changed the narrator for the series! 😡 This is an incredible series and the narrator for this book is ok but NOT as good as the previous narrator.

Defiant Unto Death

Thomas Blackstone is a great star and Gilbert is the best co-star. This series has been a true blessing. David Gilman's creative genius at work. Gildart Jackson started it all and Colin Mace has kept the flame going. It is rare that the story keeps it's edge when the narrator changes, and this is a rarity indeed. Thanks for such a great story. Waiting for #9.
