Love the writing, love the reader and that is so important. I will say that I think the writer needs to back off Thomas being so hard on Henry. Henry needs to stand in the line of battle and win his spurs. He would be a fantastic addition as one of Thomas Captains. (You reading this David?)

The Blackstone's are BADASS

Love everything about this series!! The battle scenes are awesome!!Can't wait for the next book.

Terrific writing, story, characters. This series is captivating. The narration is also excellent. I hope there will soon be a, “Book 9”!

Another amazing book from David Gillman and fantastically narrated. My dog got a lot of extra walks so I could keep listening. Please keep these books coming!

I have waited until I finished the entire series or at least what's avaliable, before reviewing it. All I can say is wow. The adventures of The Blackstones has been the best rollercoaster I've ever experienced. The depth of historical research that went into them is breath taking in its throughness and the weaving in of the fictional story was masterfully done.
