Great tale of the old west.

I loved every chapter of this book. I'm a Jansen Brand fan .This was my second book and I'm looking forward to the next one in the series. I love all the old and new characters . The movie in my head all ready have actors picked out for all of them from Smoke, Denny, Brice, Sally & Bradley and the rest.

great characters and plot. Greed and violence is always overcome by courage and love. smoke and family epitomize that courage and live.

Who cares about this vain selfish girl

Who D Jensen likes or dislikes is not something that interests me. Silly tomboy stunts and playing two young men off each other sounds like a romance novel, not a cowboy adventure. It was obvious that the cowboy had a past. Sooooo cliche

Fire the narrator

The story is very good but the entire audible book is ruined by the narrator. The other narrators for the "Jensen" series are great buth for some reason, they are using this guy and it is awful

Narrator was crying from beginning to end.

Worst reader I’ve ever heard, no change from one character to the next. Wining from beginning to end.
