Everything Ivy Morgan thought she knew has been turned on its head. After being betrayed and then nearly killed by the Prince of the Fae, she's left bruised and devastated—and with an earth-shattering secret that she must keep at all costs. And if the Order finds out her secret, they'll kill her.

Then there's Ren Owens, the sexy, tattooed Elite member of the Order who has been sharing Ivy's bed and claiming her heart. Their chemistry is smoking hot, but Ivy knows that Ren has always valued his duty to the Order above all else—he could never touch her if he knew the truth. That is, if he let her live at all. Yet how can she live with herself if she lies to him?

But as the Fae Prince begins to close in, intent on permanently opening the gates to the Otherworld, Ivy is running out of options. If she doesn't figure out who she can trust—and fast—it's not only her heart that will be torn apart, but civilization itself.©2016 Jennifer L. Armentrout

I feel like I should warn people that if you have any PTSD, or anything from being held prisoner or anything like that, you may not want to read this book. I am very far into my recovery and I found it very hard. The book is amazing though, I wish that warmer steamy scenes, but it does the job. I feel that the writer meant to do this with this series. And she hit the nail on the head with all the trauma that happens from being captured or held against your will, there were a lot of things in this book I felt, were actually helpful to think about, it only lost one star because not enough steamy lol

PTSD from being held somewhere, beware… Great story though

Absolutely one of my favorite series, EVER. Just enough spice and magic. Love the New Orleans setting and i want to hang out with Tink.

I like to hear more than just rated X porn and this book had more to it than just hot sex. First series in a while I wanted to read the whole of. Narrator is pretty good. I don't really like ANY narrators unfortunately so u may think this one is fantastic.

It was worth the time to listen

Would you listen to Torn again? Why?

Absolutely! Jenn is my favorite author. This book is amazing. Full of passion, regression, depth, action, and just plain awesomeness. I laughed so hard I cried.

What other book might you compare Torn to and why?

Torn compares to a Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. I like the other worldly feel of both books.

Have you listened to any of Amy Landon’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listed to other books performed by Amy. She did a very good job distinguishing each character's voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I always have an extreme reaction to Jenn's book. I did laugh, Tink is HILARIOUS!! No crying, but I did come close a few times from laughing so hard.

Any additional comments?

If you love the YA genre, then this could be the book series for you! Start with Wicked, you will not be disappointed. The characters are well defined and have amazing personalities.

Wickedly Awesome
