Gain Levels, Defeat Monsters, Protect the Innocent.
Rico hungered for something more, eager for excitement. Fate led him to a goddess of opportunity. The divine teleports him to a planet filled with war, magic, and denizens of the deep.
Life.... It has a way of smacking you in the face, eliciting that fight of flight emotion buried deep within. For Rico, he embraces the challenge, being blessed as a mage of the nine magics; a protector of the nine species. By crushing his enemies to gain riches and levels, he'll protect the downtrodden as a destined champion.
As the Shrezen assaults increase, can the Champion of Nuwa stem their advance and save the day?

The premise of the story is quite the usual, transmigrated MC set on a world with powers. The only difference being they have to fight against waves of creatures and build towers to defend against them. While it is interesting, i feel it's a very unexplored while at the same time we get a lot of bloat information about the whole ordeal.
Now the good about this story is the relationship aspect. While it could use a bit more spicy scenes for it's length, the characters themselves and their development was amazing. And it also stars some of the best conversations between people in a relationship I have seen as well as some very emotional scenes.
The ladies and their voice acting was quite amazing. The MC narration is also quite good, although some of his dialogue/traits can be a bit cringe, please no more "unleashing the beast".
Overall I did enjoy the story and would recommend the book to others, and I do hope the next one focuses on the more important aspects and what it did good.
Pretty good, could be better
