Booze, women, and brotherhood - that's what my good friend Quinn's bachelor party should have been.

Booze, one mysterious raven-haired woman, and an arrest - that's what it was.

As Cam Mitchell, a New York Maverick and one of the best tight ends in the professional football league, my to-do list should be pretty simple. Play ball. Get laid. Have fun. But after one hour with a stripper named Trixie, that list of mine has shifted dramatically.

Tell Quinn to call my lawyer. And, for the love of God, don't get fired from the Mavericks. I swear, I tried to make it stop there. But one tiny thing keeps finding its way to the very top....

Find out more about the dark-haired beauty with the big blue eyes and make her mine. Too bad it's a hell of a lot more complicated than that. How do you fall in love with a woman whose real name you don't know?

Well, ladies and gentlemen...I'm about to find out.

The story was a little stupid, but it was cute. Happy ever after. Good read.

Good but strange

Not as lighthearted as most of the Max Monroe books I’ve read, but definitely a good time and still provided me with lots of laughs. I really liked both the MCs, and I’ll admit it didn’t actually play out exactly as I predicted it. TBH, maybe a biiiiiit anticlimactic (imo), but a nice ending and our beloved HEA.

Huge sucker for Joe Arden, and he did not disappoint. C.J. Bloom has quickly risen to *absolute favorite, can do no wrong* status… so of course I loved her performance.

Loved the Narration, Different Story than I’m Used to with Max Monroe Books

I love, love, loved Trick Play!!

I couldn't put this book down!!
After meeting Trixie at a strip club, Cameron is enamored by a set of baby blues.
So what if Trixie is a stripper.. and Cameron is a member of the famed Maverick football team. Like the best corner back in the NFL!

But Trixie has a huge secret..
And a family that makes you shake your head.
All men. I'll leave it at that. Once you read this story, I think you'll be asking yourselves the same question I asked myself.. how is Trixie still sane.. 😂

I won't let out any spoilers, just know this story is worth the credit.

CJ Bloom is one of my favorite narrators... With Joe Arden, you can't go wrong!!

Max Monroe.. ladies, you've done it again!!
I have yet to read or listen to one of your books that aren't great!!

Please read the first two books in the Maverick's series.
If you haven't yet read the Bad Billionaires series.. add them to your wish list. Many of the characters are in this series, as well.

Trixie and Cameron.. Who'd Have Thought...

This is book 3 of the series, and I even though I envisioned CMAC, I feel like there could have been more to this story. I thought Lana’s character was a great idea. Very nice change of pace as far as most FMCs go. All together it was a decent read/listen. It is what I’ve come to expect from the author.

This made me think of C MAC…and I loved it
