Suspense! Baseball! Here are two tales that combine both, written by master storytellers Michael Connelly and Elmore Leonard.
In "Two Bagger," a pair of detectives follow a recently released felon who has been hired to make a hit at an LA Dodgers baseball game—and the suspenseful cat and mouse games begin.
In "Chickasaw Charlie Hoke," a retired professional baseball player is looking for employment and telling stories—but are the stories true?
These stories—by two of the best thriller writers to ever put pen to paper—is packed with twists, turns, of course, baseball.

What did you love best about Two Bagger?
Both are based around good ol' american baseball! However, you don't have to know or love the game to enjoy these 2 short storiesWhat did you like best about this story?
In the 2nd story I loved the way the old underdog comes out on top!Which character – as performed by Lee Horsley – was your favorite?
Charlie in the 2nd story. A older mostly B class baseball star (retired).Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Laugh! In the 2nd story, Charlie, always has the good come-back line.Any additional comments?
Both of these stories are really well written. Buy the time they are finished, you really wish that each one was a full novel.2 short stories equals 1 hour of GREAT Listening!
