Join us on this emotional roller coaster as Sevyn struggles with her heart and mind, secretly in love with a man who is off-limits: her best friend, Wave. Her busy life isn’t enough to keep her happy, and she’s fed up with having to hide who she is to meet the standards of someone else's lifestyle. The tough Chicago girl is faced with depression and hard decisions when confronted with choosing between what she needs and what she wants. Will she let herself drown in her sorrows, or will she emerge stronger?

Wave, Mr. I have everything, even a secret he hasn’t shared with anyone, lives a life he designed to match his lifestyle. From buying properties or flipping them throughout the South Side of Chicago, he feels invincible. Between having money, a woman, friends, and multiple businesses, Wave is the man, but nothing lasts forever. Kryptonite was Superman’s downfall; what will Wave’s be?

No spoilers but it just wasn’t it. The build up was really good but the way it ended was just blah.

Overall good story.. hated the ending

Im on chapter 6 and I just can't get into the story. Between the characters' behavior, the flow of conversation, the repetitive thoughts, it's just too juvenile and the narration doesn't help.
