inoffensive but boring

This second installment is definitely better than the first in that it is not disturbing and awful, but neither is it particularly interesting. The characters are forgettable, and the plot, such as it is, is plodding and predictable.

Excellent retelling of Cinderella because the character has skills and education.

Several additional characters have been added giving this story more depth and depth. Refreshing. No reliance on redundant formulaic and fake sex scenes with unlikely continuous multiple organisms to insert a little porn to help sell the pulp. There was a short scene toward the end, but apparently it’s like some autonomic reflex of the genre. It was like a 30 second belch, and easily skipped. This story was presented with dignity and clever plot twists. Good grammar without the wincing from the mixed tenses and incorrect pronouns so often found in other books. Nice work.
