Surrogate needed. One hundred thousand dollars compensation.

I always thought that when I got pregnant, I’d be happily bonded and ready to start a family.

But my mate left two years ago. Unfortunately, the bond that ties us didn’t. I need to have it surgically removed if I want to stop aching for a man who will never return. The cost of the surgery is $50,000. Being a surrogate would cover that.

The only problem is, it’s difficult for an omega to become pregnant if they’re bonded to someone else. I’ll have to take a high dose of Doxum. The side effects are terrible. Most omegas have heat-like symptoms and a desperate need for affection.

To make matters worse, the alpha who placed the ad is my type in every way. He’s older, nerdy, and incredibly kind. I worry that I’ll beg him to care for me, even though that isn’t how situations like this work. Or even worse, I’ll let myself develop feelings for him.

The last thing I need is to ache for another man who doesn’t want me.

Unbonded for You is a hurt/comfort romance with MPreg, knotting, and romantic trips to the bookstore. It’s the fifth book in the Nerds Who Knot series, but it stands alone.

I live the unique take on alpha and omegas. The stigma attached to the bond bite is interesting and I enjoyed how that all worked. Rosie and Kenard were awesome side characters!

I love Nerds who knot and this was a perfect addition to the series. Sebastian and Thomas are perfect for each other and after a slow interesting start they come together beautifully. This was a all in can’t stop listening and loving story. The narration was perfectly executed. I was enchanted with this couple. Great listen.

I have not read all of the books in this series, but it can be read as a standalone. Thomas is a bonded omega who we find out was actually bonded to a pedophile, don't worry he only pops up for a very brief moment. Both the absence of his bonded Alpha makes it difficult for him. In addition, he can't stand the feel of another touching him, so he is touch starved. He wants to get the unbonding procedure done, but it is very expensive, so he answers an ad about being a surrogate. Sebastian is a very sweet Alpha who's Omega unbonded from him because he couldn't stand how "clingy" Sebastian is. Both of our MC's our gun shy because neither feels that they are ever going to find someone that will love them, for them. Thomas starts taking a potentially toxic drug Doxum, so that he can stand Sebastian touching him. When they realize that they do care for each other & want each other. Though Sebastian thinks its all the drug. So he decides to stop taking the drug & see where things lead. Sebastian is also having issues with his father who keeps threatening to fire Sebastian if he doesn't fall in line. I loved seeing him stand up to him and become his own man. What I would have liked is spending a little bit of time during the year time jump. We go from Thomas agreeing to getting the procedure done to him being 5 mths pregnant. I would have liked that initial connection. We do get to see Thomas reconnecting with his fathers. Then we jump 3 mths and we have a baby, though we do get some of the labor, & then the book is done. That was my only real issues with the book & would have given us a couple of more chapters.

This is the first book I’ve read in this series, but since it’s a standalone I was excited to review it. I am absolutely obsessed with some of Amy Bellow’s other books (go read the Burrowing Hearts series right now!!) This book had the typical Amy Bellows style, short chapters, quick attraction between MCs, and achingly sweet romance.

I loved that both characters had reasons to be self-conscious, and they were able to help each other though it, easing past hurt and creating a new, happier life together.

The book deals with some heavy subjects such as grooming and sexual assault of a minor, but in a way that was readable and provided a lesson on healing from past trauma.

I also really enjoyed all the board game references! I’m going to have to look up some of those games for myself.

I really enjoyed the book and would recommend!

Great narration of a good story
