Lighthearted Dark Fantasy

I have to admit I really loved the lighthearted sillyness of a shoe loving queen of the vampires. I'm personally not a big fan of dark brooding vampires, so this was really a lot of fun.

My only gripe is that it's a little more sexual than I would have liked, not that I mind a little bit but the author can be very explicit which is a little wierd for me since I like to listen to my books at work (with headphones but still...).

Otherwise I'm really enjoying the series and I can't help spending all my credits so I can read the rest of them.

Smart and Sassy

If you like smart and sassy heroines, cheeky dialouge with witty comebacks and a smart but easy to follow plot line then you should have a listen. The production of the audio is very good as well - Nancy Wu's voice is crisp and I personally LOVED her reading.

Sarcastic, witty, weird plot but funny. And of course there are so many different therorys about vampires and how the live etc. But hey worth the money

What was one of the most memorable moments of Undead and Unwed?

In the pool and not realizing that she was consummating their relationship.

What about Nancy Wu’s performance did you like?

I think she could of done a better job with the characters and the voice changes. It was pretty the same sound and sometimes he sounded she was right on top of the mic

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Two different sittings

Dubious consent - yuck

I love the story, hated the way one character didn't get consent. Also "retarded" =gross
