Bridget Jones’s Diary meets What We Do in the Shadows in this bitingly funny supernatural romance about a vampire finding herself and falling in love during the Christmas season.

Tiffenie may be three hundred years old, but she’s still a hot mess. The vampire is tragically single, works a dead-end job at a blood bank, and spends her nights marathoning Hallmark Channel movies with her cat.

When Tiffenie inherits a fixer-upper home in Valentine, Vermont, thanks to a case of mistaken (okay, stolen) identity, she seizes the chance to get her life back on track. With her newly undead neighbor (it was an accident!) in tow, Tiffenie is determined to live out her holiday rom-com dreams in this picture-perfect town.

But between the mystery of her stolen identity, small-town drama, and the arrival of her insufferable vampire ex-boyfriend Vlad, getting her happily ever after with a hot Christmas tree farmer won’t be easy. To uncover what she truly desires, Tiffenie must embark on a journey of self-acceptance for the first time in her immortal life. Luckily, it’s never too late to start therapy.

Loved this fun take on a supernatural holiday read! So engaging and enjoyable. The humor was refreshing and the small town feel was inviting! Thoroughly enjoyed this as my first completed book of 2026!

Well Done Supernatural Holiday Story

This was a funny, occasionally dark, and far spicier read than I anticipated. It takes a storyline that’s been done before and flips it neatly by making the FMC a vampire. Was the plot sometimes predictable? Yes. Did it earn a groan or two along the way? Also yes. But it entertained me, and I absolutely found myself cheering for the FMC to sink her fangs into the smug building inspector.

While it doesn’t break new ground, it delivers exactly what it promises—a quirky, slightly bloody romantic romp about self-acceptance and owning who you are. And the narrator does a fantastic job bringing out the humor and heart. A good time for anyone looking for something playful with just enough bite.

Funny and fresh

I truly loved this book. I didn't even know that I needed it. Very unique. Such a fun read. Would reread next Winter. Thank you so much. Hallmark meets Vampires.

Vamptastic

it was a funny, premise and story, but the dialogue wasn’t funny. Nobody said anything where are you? Laughed out loud or felt really entertained. But the plot and characters were great. You just really needed some more really funny dialogue, some witty banter, some real mistakes or mishaps that make you laugh out loud or identify with as the reader

Close to being fantastic, but not quite
