fun read

This is a fun series. The narrator is very good, has a pleasant voice.

The story is original and entertaining. Alf, the main character is very loveable. She has a good heart even when bad things are happening and bad people are around. This story takes place away from Alf's beloved Wonky Inn and has her dealing with her worst nightmare, the Vampires!

Vengeful Vampire at Wonky Inn book 8 in the Wonky Inn series by Jeannie Wycherley another fabulous addition to this incredible series, it starts off a bit slow and then hooked me. Tara-Louise Kaye continues to do a fantastic job narrating this book. Love this series and can't wait for more!

Another great addition to a series that you will love. Enjoyable characters and plots with each book. Worth reading and/or listening to.

Off To Transylvania

I was entertained by this story, although I thought this story was a little darker than the preceding book in the series. I liked that this book was answering the questions regarding Thadeus, a character from a previous book, but I was concerned about Alf and her friends as they had several obstacles to overcome to succeed in their newest missions. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I liked Tara-Louise Kaye's narration as her performance kept my attention riveted to the story. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Alf’s Most Perilous Adventure Yet

The Wonky Inn series never fails to entertain, and Vengeful Vampire at Wonky Inn is no exception! Jeannie Wycherley has once again delivered a story full of charm, wit, and unexpected twists. While this installment takes on a slightly darker tone than previous books, it still retains the quirky humor and magical atmosphere that fans of the series have come to love.

Alf thought her vampire troubles were behind her, but fate had other plans. The repercussions of past events come back to haunt her, pulling readers into a suspenseful and engaging mystery. I loved how the story explored loyalty, justice, and the lengths Alf will go to protect her friends and clear her name. The pacing was excellent, and the tension kept me hooked from start to finish.

Tara-Louise Kaye’s narration is, as always, outstanding. Her ability to bring Alf and the entire Wonky Inn cast to life adds so much depth and personality to the story. The voices, the emotion, and the timing were all spot-on, making this audiobook an absolute delight to listen to.

If you’ve enjoyed the previous books in the series, you’ll definitely want to add this one to your collection. It’s a perfect blend of mystery, magic, and a touch of menace that keeps the Wonkyverse fresh and exciting.
