The son of the most dangerous Kingpin in Mexico.

The heir to the throne.

The man that individuals fear the most, next to my father.

According to my father those are things that I should be proud of. I should be proud of my heritage and wear it on my back with honor.

I’ll honor my heritage but I will not honor the path that is set out for me. The life that my father lives is not for me. I will do anything in my power to walk away from that life, and that apparently includes getting married in Vegas after a night of drinking.

She’s beautiful, everything that I have ever wanted, but I can’t have her. Not with the life that I live.

Not with the blood I have on my hands.

So good, I couldn’t stop listening. So enticing and 🌶️🌶️. Wished the male actor was able to speak Spanish too to pronounce the words right. Suggested this for my book club and so happy I did!

I really enjoyed this story. the characters are fun, the spice is good, and it's not too slow. My main issue is the narrators. I wish they would at least take the time to learn how to properly pronounce the word correctly. The Spanish words are butchered endlessly the entire book and it really takes away from enjoying this book. I hope the next time they can choose bilingual narrators.

The story line is enough to keep you coming back for more!

The storyline was amazing and 🌶🌶. I didn’t like how the male reader couldn’t pronounce the Spanish words that a Mexican character was saying. They should’ve had a Spanish speaking person read the males portion.

Great book but not a fan of the readers.

Everything is great but the female voice made me cringe. She didn’t pronounce things correctly. She honestly is the only thing that ruined the story . Male narrator should have known Spanish too. To make it more realistic. Idk. Everything but naration was good.

Great story/awful narration

The female narrator is AWFUL. Her voice is too nasally and high pitched AND sounds like she’s purposely mispronouncing the Spanish names. Who pronounces Santos as Santas?!

Really dislike the female narrator for this one
