Book 1: Wreckage Road

When the Cascadia Subduction Zone rips open, the West Coast collapses—cities vanish beneath tsunamis, and the ground never stops shaking. EMT Reed Walker and biology teacher Chloe Cooper lead a desperate escape through the ruins of Oregon, dodging aftershocks, deadly threats, and a world turned savage. Survival is only the beginning.

Book 2: Wreckage River

Three months later, peace is shattered as the heartland erupts. A megaquake tears through the New Madrid fault, splitting the Mississippi and destroying everything in its path. Separated by chaos, Reed, Chloe, and their makeshift family must fight to reunite in a land where nothing is stable—and nowhere is safe.

Book 3: Wreckage Ridge

Just when they thought the worst was behind them, the East Coast explodes on Halloween night. Mountains shatter, tsunamis surge, and time runs out. As civilization collapses again, Reed, Chloe, and the kids must survive one more onslaught—and face the terrifying truth behind the Earth’s relentless destruction.

The story was GREAT but the AI narrative was TERRIBLE. Not a word, intonation, or feeling was conveyed accurately.

AI Narrations Should Be OUTLAWED

Story line was good. Having AI narrator makes it awful. Mispronouncing words, incorrect inflections takes a good book down a couple of notches

Abysmal AI narrator

Great series but I think the audio book is messed up. In the epilogue of the first book…the last chapter of it goes through all these chapters with where they were and the time and that’s it…

Great series

This story was just mehhh. The survival rate of some of the characters was just too unbelievable. Especially, the kids in the zoo. Book 1-2 worth the listen but stop there.

AI?

I’m not sure how I managed to listen to this all the way to the end because of the terrible AI narration. You kind of had to concentrate to re-interpret what was happening because the narration turned normal sentences into nonsense. I think the story itself was good, although it just turned into one earthquake after another, which quit being exciting after the 100th one. I’ll never listen to an AI narrated book again.

Truly horrible AI narration
