FANTASTIC!!!

Wish I could give it 10 stars! This is one of the best books I have ever listened to. These narrators bring this book to life and make you feel part of the story. Tag has major issues but he wasn't portrayed as whining. He was strong and Bea was amazing. This was a believable story and kept you not wanting to put it down. I can't wait till the next book comes out on audible. Please hurry. I absolutely love how Ashley tells a story.

Oh my heart, this one about did me in. It broke me into pieces and was such an emotional journey. It was heartbreaking, yet so full of love, hope, healing, and new beginnings.

I'm not going to lie, this was a hard one. There are a lot of difficult topics. I went into this book not really knowing anything about it (I like to be surprised so I don't read a lot of blurbs). In hindsight, I probably should have so I could have prepared myself (that's my bad). That being said, this turned out to be such a beautiful ride.

I loved Ashley's writing, her characters (so well written), and Meadowbrook so much. I also just finished book 2, We Danced Among Shadows, and loved it as well. Meadowbrook and it's wonderful humans have my heart. I can't wait to see what comes next.

This was an audiobook listen for me. Its narrated by A.W. Miller and Taylor Meskimen. They were both amazing! I really felt like I was right in the story. Their performances were wonderful and brought out the emotions of this story so beautifully.

This was a beautiful story about tragedy and overcoming the hardships of life. The narrators did a fantastic job.

This story felt so vivid, precious, and treasured. The delicate balance of beauty and love with heartache and trauma, through words came alive in my mind. Love is a powerful force.
