There are multiple times where names are switched. Calling Darien Damien and Serenity Alora or vice versa.

I really enjoyed the challenge section of the fight finals. And having the Supernatural council member at lunch and signing off on Alora.

These new changes will make for a very different novel. Waiting for the complete update of this story. Hoping some of the new characters will make their way into later chapters. Not having Selena do the clan bonds just seems wrong.

Werewolf’s Heartsong (Werewolf’s Heartsong Series Book 5) ~~ I read this book on Kindle and also listened on Audible, and this book really feels like everything in the series has been building toward this moment.

The heroine has fully embraced her strength and her wolf. She’s no longer just fighting to survive — she’s fighting for leadership, loyalty, and the future of the pack.

The arena battles are still intense, but the story now focuses even more on power, destiny, and the bond between wolves and their mates. Watching the heroine stand strong against the people who once doubted her was one of the most satisfying parts of this book.

The relationship between the main characters also reaches a new level. Their mate bond becomes stronger and more emotional, and they begin realizing that their connection might be the key to changing the future of the entire pack.

The Audible narrator again does a great job bringing the characters and action to life, especially during the emotional and dramatic moments near the end of the story.

This book delivers several intense confrontations and major revelations that really move the story forward. Even though some conflicts are resolved, it definitely leaves you wanting more from this world and these characters.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself ~ you won’t regret it.

Part 5 Chapters 201-265

Part 5 Chapters 201-265 This includes the start of the rewrite. Starts with Damien at school receiving texts the Monday after Alorha’s birthday.

Glad you used the male AI voice again.

Liking the story, though I will admit there are some things I liked a bit better in the first version I listened to.

The biggest issue though is there is a severe need for proofreading and editing. I'm not sure if your doing that yourself or not. But if you are it might not hurt to have someone else either read or listen (read would probably be better). There are multiple chapters that basically just repeat what was already said in the chapter before it, just in a slightly different way. It doesn't even seem to be from a different perspective, just the same chapter written differently but not removed. This did happen occasionally in the first version that's on this app but this time it happens a lot.

Another issue is several instances where the wrong person was mentioned. Accidentally referring to Alora as Darien's mate instead of Serenity. Once at the start of the testing before they say down and Matthew was looking at Alora it said she was being held by her mate. That's not possible for a couple of reasons. One Damian is at college hours away. Two Alora doesn't even know yet he's her mate. There's a few times sentence structure seems out of order. Like before you actually got into Darien and Serenity's mating seen it said after they were basking in the after glow of their love making but then cut to Darien just walking into his room to see his mate waiting for him. The further along it went the more mistakes seemed to be happening that could have been caught from editing and proofreading.

Again it's a good story and there is some more depth and I like the addition of some of the new characters. For example, it does and doesn't make sense that she has a camaraderie with others in her Alpha ranking. If you're familiar with the original it doesn't completely make sense but since they have been training together it also does.

It almost feels like your rushing a bit to get the new rewrite out where personally I'd prefer you take a little more time a polish this gem.

Alora’s journey

Love this book i have read and listened to it over and over always finding something new. The latest more in depth version of this book is by far the best and answered so many questions about Alora and her past and her journey to the present!
