When I’m stalked and kidnapped from the convent by my father’s enemy, a cowboy hellbent on revenge, everything changes.

I’m torn from my cloistered life of simplicity, thrown into the center of a bitter fight, and held at his mercy in a small cabin in the middle of the Colorado wilderness.

There could be a silver lining though.

The quiet, bespectacled, heavily tattooed horseman has an offer: If I give him what he wants, he’ll grant the only wish I have. He might even be the one person capable of delivering it. It’s a dangerous temptation. Just like the way he looks at me.

If I’m honest, the more I learn about the man underneath all the scars, the more I’m questioning everything I thought I believed. Especially when he makes a confession of his own.

But the cost for our deal? It’s steep.

I’ll have to break every vow I’ve ever taken.

As I dove back into Maggie’s Quiet Horseman world I was not ready for Levi’s story. With her usual talent for suspense and steam Maggie has once again written a nonstop ride that I did not want to get off.

Levi and Zephyrine’s story is not for the weak. Zephyrine is living in a convent, staying away from her abusive, controlling husband, when a new priest comes in and makes her have thoughts that she probably shouldn’t. Levi impersonates the above mentioned priest with hopes to get close to Zephyrine and find out what she knows about the relics her family is trying to find. And what happens next is something only Maggie could write.

This story has all sorts of stuff, it’s steamy, it’s emotional, it’s naughty and it’s also dark and twisted in the best possible way. This is the third book in this series, and really shouldn’t be read as a standalone, so start with Dark Horse and hold on!

There is nothing sexier than a man in glasses.

I couldn’t stop listening. Definitely my favorite book of the series so far! The male narrator is just *chefs kiss* perfection!!

Somehow- they keep getting g better. Book 3 is everything. Seriously,—- I need time to break down the beauty I just listened to.
Duet narration is top in this installment.

This MAN is at the top of my list of book husbands that could quite literally do anything to me. He is perfection personified. This book had the perfect amount of smut and plot. It was such a good continuation of the storyline from both books and to me, was even better. I personally enjoyed this book more and was even more skeptical going in with the whole nun trope but it did NOT disappoint. I just wish there was more of Levi because I’m obsessed. Christian Fox killed the narration.

"Dark Horse" was one of my favorite listens of last year and I figured there was no way book 3 would turn out to be as good-- let alone be even better! "Westbound" turned out to be my favorite in the entire "Quiet Horsemen" series! Christian Fox and Stella Hunter's performance was nuanced and dynamic making this suspenseful story even more exhilarating to listen to!

Even better than book 2!
