The story had potential which is why I continued with the 2nd book but I just couldn’t get over how the FMC whined, sobbed and gasped incessantly the entire time. It could have been a good read but unfortunately it wasn’t.

Refreshing Storyline

Really good sequel. My only problem is how whiny Blake is. She is extremely indecisive and I got whiplash and a healthy dose of frustration listening to her. I get she was trying to figure out her feelings but the writer milked it to the point of frustration. I began skipping theough her inner monologues. They happened every other minute in every single one of her chapters. Character development was weak for Blake.

Loved the ending

Second book even better and so glad for everyone’s ending. To get everyone’s view and new friendships. And the growth between Nero and Blake just badas.

Amazing series!

Really well done! This is a new author to me and I just really enjoyed this series! The writing is outstanding, the characters are so multi-dimensional, the storylines are all intertwined and not a single one is missed when wrapping up. Every single detail is used in this book! Every piece of the story is meaningful in these books and it’s so cool to see. I love books like these. I’m looking forward to more by this author! The narrators are awesome too - Aiden Snow and Lucy Rivers are both excellent and always do a great job!
