Life changing

I have read too many books on this topic, searching for hope and healing. This is by far the best study/workbook/book I have come across and I absolutely will recommend it to any Christian wife who finds herself in this unfortunate situation. This focuses on what you can control (yourself) and fixing your eyes on Jesus, our true source of healing.

spiritually led

The narrator was easy to listen to. Loved the scripture guidance throughout the entire book. Felt more validation and understanding than sn't other book or council on this subject. The journaling was inspiring and gained more clarity about how I can process and heal from the betrayal.

God brought this book into my hands when i was heartbroken and looking for direction after my husband confessed to hiding porn. she made me feel so validated and understood, while also speaking solid truth. it was exactly what i needed, answered my questions, and equipped me with the tools to move forward. i would recommend this to any wife who has gone through something similar and longs for true healing and hope.

Incredibly written, #1 recommendation

I wish I had this book years ago. I have read almost every book recommended by FoF for this subject, and every one made me feel inadequate. I stumbled upon this one after seeking God and ordering Every Man’s Battle. I just happened to scroll down to the reviews on EMB, and saw one where the writer had the same feelings I did after reading it. She recommended this book. It is life changing. Dear sister — or brother — choose this one instead.

The author gives biblical and sound teaching straight from the word of our Father in Heaven. The author mourns with you, she comforts as a fellow believer should, and gives insight to strongholds of sin of which you may not be aware. It has helped me forgive myself and those who have sinned against me — even outside the subject under which it was published.

God loves you, and wants healing for you. He does not want shame based spiritual and sexual oppression veiled under the guise of “Wife/Help Meet.” You were, and are, HIS daughter before you were a wife. Remember that.

My husband and I listened to this book one chapter a day over 6 weeks. Our daughter was blindsided by her husband’s pornography addiction. Ours hearts have been broken for both of them. This book presents HOPE. Christ and the gospel are HOPE. Whether the marriage is healed or a divorce happens, there is healing and hope through Christ and the truth of his Word. We learned so much through this book. It’s wonderful.
