Logic is doing his best to stay focused on just living.

After the death of his brother, he decides to leave the streets alone. He can't imagine his mother having to bury another son or visit him in jail. But the idea of letting his brother's killer go free is really weighing heavily on him. Especially knowing his brother's killer was the one person he used to trust the most.

Joy has been watching Logic for months and knows that she has to have him. This man is everything. There is a certain mystery about him that pulls her in and won't let go.

She can tell there is a reason why he walks around her local cafe like he owns the world, and thanks to her best friend Karma, Joy soon discovers just how right she is about her mystery guy.

Once Logic and Joy meet, things take off, and the two are destined to be together. But Logic's past resurfaces, causing him to make a decision that might force Joy to walk away. What's more important: revenge or love? Maybe they can handle both. Only time will tell.

Book was well written and not over the top I instantly fell in love with the characters!!

Loved it!!!!!

K.C. Mills is an awesome writer!! This was one of my favorite books of hers. It was suspenseful with lots of twists and turns. Tony Isabella as usual did an awesome job narrating. I thought it would be too much to listen to the same narrator for such a long story; but nope; Tony was great! I highly recommend.

The loyalty of it all

I liked how the men were very loyal and family men. I wanted Logic and Gotti to get out of that life style. Oh and I hated Joy parents.

This book was everything!

This book was very well written and had no loose ends. One narrator made the most sense with how the book flowed and he did an amazing job.
