New York Times best-selling author Sandra Dallas sets this 1920s tale in a small mining town near Colorado’s majestic Tenmile Range. As nine children walk home from school, a spring avalanche thunders down from Jubilee Mountain—burying everything in its path. This compelling novel of survival, redemption, and faith skillfully reveals the backstory of each family affected by this tragedy.

It was rather difficult to remember each of the characters in the end as I had to go back in my memory to determine who they were and what happened. The reader did not accentuate different sounds for the people Who were talking speaking. I had trouble determining who was the speaker. It was a good story about avalanches and how people cared for one another. It was a good story about peoples lives who had horrendous and overwhelming times that they had through.

Story Revolving around a mountain town avalanche in Colorado that build strong characters revolving around that time

story seemed to jump around a bit and some places seemed unrelated to the others. I like this author a lot but this one just didn't seem to be one of her best I had trouble following the story sometimes

not her best
