Wow, what an incredible story!

My hrart just broke for Gerry while reading this book! The depravity and horrors that she survived is mind blowing! I just wanted to reach out and hug her younger self! And I can't help but feel rage and fury for her tormentors!
Congratulations Gerry, on overcoming what must have seemed like the insurmountable odds that were stacked against you! Becoming the lovely woman that you have obviously become was your best revenge for those that tried to squash your spirit!

Absolutely great book! This book was inspiring, candid. You really see how sexual child abuse can change the trajectory of your life. I would definitely recommend this book yto other readers.

Great read, sad story.

Very well written. A definite page turner. The narrator was pretty good. I just have a hard time, listening to anyone pronounce a word that ends in D as if it ended in T.
