Another good story

Good plot, great characters and awesome narration. Box has great character development and creates characters I love and love to hate. The bad guys are despicable and the so-called questionable characters are very sympathetic. Joe Pickett is a painfully honest man who is self deprecating and honorable - a very easy to like and root for character. So far, Box’s 1st Pickett novel, which won an Edgar, and this one, the 3rd in the series are my faves. I look forward to enjoying more. I definitely recommend.

Joe meets Nate and strangely dark friendship has begins .it's a very sad but great story with lots of twist and turns it's another story you just can't put down!
