well written

it has been so long since I picked up this book and longer still since it released. I got through the first two short stories and stopped because even though they were well written I didn't personally like the stories. it wasn't my cup of tea I suppose. as a general rule I tend to shy away from prequels and this is sort of in that category. I just now, after having read the entire series a half a dozen times and the extended universe a couple of times, returned to this set of short stories to finish off the book. the final two stories I like the whole hell of a lot better. for a series that I absolutely adore, I do appreciate the addition. I would recommend this to anybody reading this review. there is a second set of shorts that I have also picked up, but unlike this one had yet to start. perhaps this time through the series I will go ahead and listen to them as well. the narrator has done a fantastic job though I do not know if he's done any other work or if he has if it's under a different name. lastly the only thing I will say is a round of applause for everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the audiobook listeners.

A solid addition to this world

I like that this gave a background into the girls. It's cool to get the insight now after they are all very familiar to us. This book feels like an origins book for all of them.

Good breather

This is a good breather between the intense ness of the main story arc and gives some more insight into the girls as the interactions between them has lessened in the main series

Worth every penny!

I absolutely love this series and getting this short wives tales Novella added into the audiobooks is awesome! I can't wait for for the next full book! This series is so good anytime they want to put out short novellas I'll buy those as well without hesitation. the only issue I've ever had with this series is that I burn through them so quickly. They're so good I don't want to turn them off. Keep writing them I'll keep buying them!
