The time has come to pay Sawyer back for all of his support and hard work. For taking a chance on Sean when no one else would. For getting Sean the needed supplies for the war back when no one else was able to. Sawyer has always been in Sean's court and has gone above and beyond more than once. And let's not even mention the help he's provided to Mihalis and Troy!

Sean's still up to his neck in trouble, but at least he's finally found an example of his father's work, along with all of his notes. Now all Sean has to do is figure out not only how to reproduce his father's greatest achievement, but to solve the one problem his father wasn't able to. Holed up in a Cold War era bomb shelter, all Sean wants to do now is keep his head down and his family safe while he untangles this latest problem. Like it or not however, Sean has set events in motion that will change the future for all of the mages and supernatural beings involved, should he prove successful.

After their success against the Ascendants is used by the Vestibulum as a cover for the mass murder of their old enemies, Sean has discovered that the Vestis are far more ruthless and dangerous than the previous two councils he's fought. Several years have passed since the war with the djevels ended, the reality they'd infested was destroyed, and their king killed. But that left Sean and the lions faced with another problem: the million or so djevels currently in the world that needed to be hunted down and killed. Part of the solution was to fence in the biggest area that was infested to stop them from spreading any further, while teams began hunting down the ones that had escaped. It's not an easy job, but it's a lot easier than the previous one by far.

The Auction House is running well now with the help of Biggs, and the issues and other problems there are on the wane, which means it's now time to set about making Bartertown his as well. He's got a plan, he's got his sisters to help him, and he's also got his wives who are already starting to pull together as a family and figure out what their roles are going to be in helping him run all of this.

The Valens Legacy: Publisher's Pack 4 contains books seven and eight in The Valens Legacy series, following Sean in the world of the supernatural. In Vegas Rules, fresh from his victory in Reno, Sean's now in Las Vegas has to fulfill his promise to help the lycans there with their own slavery problems. Things are starting to heat up for Sean and for some of his allies in Desperate Measures. When several of the councils decide to ban together in a move to eradicate him and his followers, Sean has no choice other than teach them a painful lesson.

With family friend Steve Bryson sworn in as the new President, Troy can finally go home and have that great big party... Err, wedding! Still, Troy's happy; he's got four of the most wonderful women in the world and knows better than to question the circumstances that got him here. However, the big question now is: What next?
