A Character Driven Sci-Fi that’s become one of my favorites

I decided to give the book a try after noticing the show advertised on Apple TV. Given I like books more than TV, I decided to listen to it before watching the show. Boy am I glad I did. I couldn’t stop listening and finished the whole book in less than a week. I’ve been hard pressed to find a book/series I like as much as The Expanse, but I think this is it. The premise is extremely interesting but it’s the way that Howey develops his characters that had me captivated. Can’t wait to read the next book!

It’s the better version of city of ember

If you like fallout, city of ember or any of those types, you’ll love this.

Good Start

Pretty solid story. I really wanted more from the personalities and the rushed end/resolution at Silo 18 was a disappointment. I was also hoping for a bit more detail of the technology they use and how they go about using/maintaining it. Seems so crucial but I’m left wondering about so much. I’m in for the next one up, though.

A+ Narrator and Story are phenomenal

I am addicted to good science fiction. This is the best that I have encountered in many years. Kudos to the author and the narrator.
