Solid finale with an underwhelming resolution

After that diabolical cliffhanger in book two, I was absolutely DYING for this one to drop. And look, it mostly delivered. The series as a whole had me hooked from the start, and I was fully invested in Ashley and her guys (Nate, Royce, Heath, and Carter) right up to the end. Tate James knows how to write chemistry and tension, and the spice stayed consistent throughout. The full-cast narration continued to be phenomenal. Here's the thing though. The ending felt a little anticlimactic compared to the buildup. After all those twists and near-death experiences, I wanted the resolution to hit harder. More frustrating was the way a critical plot point from that book two cliffhanger got basically hand-waved away. Like, that was a HUGE deal, and then it just... wasn't? Pretty unsatisfying. Still a solid conclusion to the trilogy, but it could've been better.

Loved this entire series!

This was such a well written well paced story! ITS WORTH THE LISTEN! Great plot. The steam was STEAMY! Only complaint… the guys were so childish and that damn NATE! Carter too but they made me happy in the third book.
