Desde que en el portal Poemas del alma conocí los formatos poéticos japoneses haiku y senryu optó por privilegiar la poesía breve sin descuidar, claro está, el soneto, la décima y el madrigal. Los breves poemas que conforman esta obra ojalá gusten a la lectoría. En ellos conviven armoniosamente los textos místicos con demonios, duendes, misterio, refugio, pena, aprendizaje, etc., todos productos de mi imaginación andariega, realenga que busca azarosamente en el rastrojo el fruto que queda luego de la recolección.

La realidad y la ficción se mezclan en estas cuitas a una amada ideal que me sirve de comodín literario para liberar de mi memoria ese río de poesía que lucha para salir de su prisión encantada y trajinar los confines de todo el universo en ese autobús lírico que tiene el don de la ubicuidad. No quiere mi prosa poética acompañarme con la parca, cuando llegue el momento de la partida, al ignoto inframundo que no tiene pasaje de regreso. Lo mismo ocurre con mi poesía en verso o libre. O en textos no poéticos, que abundan en mi quehacer intelectual.

En cada poema que escribo oigo la palabra ¡Libertad! en un lenguaje que solo yo entiendo por sacarlo de la tenebrosa mazmorra donde estaba apoltronado desde hace milenios poéticos. De esa prisión, al ser redactado y puesto en el ciberespacio o formando parte de un libro en formato de papel, pasa a la eternidad y se salva de morir conmigo cuando la parca me visite. Libre cual el viento, o cual las nubes, o como el pajarillo que vuela solo o acompañado por el espacio o se sube en la copa del árbol a proveerse del alimento que llevará al nido que llevará al polluelo.
