When a pilot with no name breaks through a rift to a dying world, he and his experimental fighter plane become the only things in the way of a horrific army of monsters that is marching to burn down the mystical world tree and kill its keeper as the final symbol of their grim victory.

The war against the last bastion of humanity continues beneath the shadow of the gargantuan world tree. Monsters still rise from the brackish blackwater in droves, charging toward the final holdout fortress with claws and teeth bared. But now, the once-lone pilot from another world is no longer alone in his defense of what remains of the world tree valley—the last holdout of life on the planet. His brutal war machine has ramped up in full strength, and steel machinations are brought out to the frontlines in order to fight back against the unseen enemy power.

Reborn into a fantastical RPG-system based world, Fresh is offered a second chance at life. Initially glad to have escaped her old existence, she quickly realizes that this new one might not be much better. Her new body is too frail to follow any grand dreams of adventure, her new mind is too dulled to allow any meticulous planning or thought, and this new, seemingly colorful, kind world is anything but.

As tensions rise between the mortal races, so too do those between the gods.

It’s all come to an end. After the events of the east, there’s only one city left where Fresh and her new family can hide from the dangers of the world, desperately clinging to the last hope of normality that the four of them share under the boughs of the great world-tree that hang far over their heads in the central city of the nation.

The Tower of Isaiah spires toward the heavens above, coming closer and closer by the day. This drives them towards the distant east, to the dry, harsh desert and the ocean city—the nation’s most thriving port of call.

His only respite from all the beatings and abuse lies in the words he scribbles down, seeking beauty in an ugly world through poetry. He has no friends until one day he meets a girl near his mother's grave. A restless spirit who calls herself Goose, over the years she encourages Swain's creativity, eventually helping him tap into a magical ability he never knew he possessed: a dark energy entwined with his despair, fueled by his anger, and controlled by his poetic verse.

The Tower of Isaiah grows in might; Its master flourishes much the same. Adventurers flock from around the nation to be able to reap the seeds that Isaiah has sown in the world, earning themselves much glory and wealth and, in turn, earning the divine entity, Isaiah, much renown. However, this new glory is not without downsides. The Holy-Church, threatened by Isaiah’s presence in the world, begins to make moves alongside the cruel, strange Witch Perchta, who holds a deep resentment towards Isaiah for her misgivings about their past that she is unable to forgive.
