As I was told by my great-grandfather during my young life, I became a writer, and I thought it would be good to tell his story. My great grandfather, Ernst Fuchs, was a Jewish and quite a famous Artist in the 1930s, born in Vienna, Austria.

This story is how my best friend and I were very unexpectedly had gotten entangled up in what could best be described as a pure evil circumstance. The two of us were tested more than most, you could say, when we had the tragedy of ominously being cruelly abducted while we were hiking the PCT in central California section.
