And so I have shared 21 prayers of gratitude with you to help you form a habit of prayer in your life.

Many times what we see as our biggest regrets, failures and mistakes become what God uses the most in our lives. God transforms our brokenness into something more beautiful than we can even imagine. He takes our mess and creates a masterpiece. You see, broken crayons still color.

Christian writers need encouragement. If you're reading this, we're assuming that you have a call to write words that glorify God. Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, you desire to honor Jesus in your writing. We want to encourage you as fellow Christian writers who understand the battle. Our prayer is that each of these devotions will provide a nugget of truth that helps refill you to be a "priestly pen" in the hands of the Author of Life!

Forgiveness... Learn how to forgive and let go. Sometimes life doesn't seem to make sense or "add up". We have life circumstances that make us question whether we can truly have a full life. Divorce. Death. Sickness. Financial losses. And life doesn't seem fair. Whatever your circumstances, we believe every listener can benefit from what we share in these words, whether you've endured varying levels of pain or struggle in your own life or you know someone who has.

During a season of transition in my life, I found myself overwhelmed with negative emotions like self-pity and a complaining spirit. It was as if a dark cloud had descended over me. I prayed and asked God for wisdom on how to overcome these negative emotions. As I did, I sensed Him leading me to do a 21 day gratitude challenge. Over the course of the 21 days, God began to change me as I spent intentional time being grateful for all I had been given.

There was a dark season in my life when it literally felt like an earthquake had occurred. Everything in my life seemed to be falling apart...my family, my finances, our Church. And I asked God the simple question, "Why?" This book is the result of my own search for answers. In the end, God gave me illustrations that I will share with you and brought healing to my heart and my distorted view of Him. I was able to trust Him again, even though my circumstances had not changed. I pray that God uses this audiobook to deeply impact you as well.

It comforts me to know that Jesus promises us healing for the broken hearted. Even in the darkest of situations there is hope. I have walked through some dark days and difficult circumstances yet Christ has brought healing to my life. I have written this book to share with you the journey God has taken me on and some of the tools He used to bring healing and lasting freedom.
