I was only 17 - a white kid green as they come - when I first met Walker Brown. Everybody called him "Train-Man Brown" or just "Train-Man". Not Trainman - that was too soft. Sometimes you have to meet the wrong person to meet the right person. Janice was definitely NOT the right person for Jeff...a revelation that came to him while "playing the piano" at her dad's house. The same dad who just happens to be a detective...and is on to Jeff's misdeeds with his daughter.

What you are about to listen to is part of an unpublished novel, based on the absolute worst time of my life: The Winter of 1988-89. It was such a bad time, so many bad things happened all at once, that I am very surprised that I did not kill myself, or someone else. I seriously thought about doing both. As God only knows if I will ever finish the whole novel, I wanted to share at least part of it, this part, with the world. What you are about to read is true. I was so bad off I was seeing and talking to "Jesus" at the time.

This is a horrible, true story. One person called it "gruesome". I agree with that statement. It is a story not for the faint of heart. Turn back now, if that is you. What it really is though, is a strong dose of reality. Not of just how frail life is and how quickly and horribly it can end, but also of how cold and inhumane people can be to each other. People in both low and high positions. You have been warned. I have told this story as I have heard it. All names have been changed except my own.
