Lucy Worsley has become a household name through our screens as a presenter of history programmes for the BBC and as an author of several best-selling books, including Jane Austen at Home. Beginning her career working for English Heritage before becoming chief curator of Historic Royal Palaces, Lucy Worsley published her latest book, a biography of Queen Victoria, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of her birth. Lucy Worsley talks to us about our continual fascination with the monarchy, why she loves sharing history so much and how in love Queen Victoria and Prince Albert really were.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss her eighth novel, The Crow Garden, is talented and acclaimed horror writer Alison Littlewood. Tyce, born and raised in Edinburgh, attended Oxford University to study English literature. She then completed a law conversion course at City University, going on to work as a criminal barrister for almost 10 years. After having difficulties juggling childcare for her young children alongside her demanding work life, Tyce decided to leave her job as a barrister. Tyce's desire to write was growing stronger as time passed, and with a manuscript or two on the go, she applied for an MA in creative writing at the University of East Anglia.

Joining us in the Audible Studios is one of our very own: Robin Morgan-Bentley. Robin is a Senior Manager at Audible and now also an author with his debut thriller, The Wreckage. You may also recognise his voice as the interviewer on some Audible Sessions. Robin has worked for Audible since 2014, and whilst he loves being part of the audio publishing process, he has always loved writing, too, so the ambition to create a novel seemed like the natural next step.

Ruby Tandoh talks to us about getting carried away recording the audiobook, avoiding moralising around food, and where the conversation on mental health needs to go next.

A multitalented man with an uneasy childhood and mixed up teen years, he has plenty to say in his autobiography. When he came to the studio, he spoke about overcoming his shyness, writing about his mum and what the West can learn from the rest of the world about peace.

A journalist since 2010, Amy Nickell has written for publications such as Grazia and the Guardian, covering topics of lifestyle, parenting and dating. Nickell also reports often on the red carpet, interviewing a wide range of celebrities. Her first book, Confessions of a Single Mum, was published in July 2018.
