Only the Darkslayer's death will do! The elven roamers battle in the north to eradicate another titan and destroy the wurmer's life gem. Not all of the powerful elven rangers can survive the trap that is sprung in the titan's lair.

The newly full-fledged members of Talon, the brothers Grey Cloak and Dyphestive, are faced with a decision. Seeking greener pastures will surely bring about pain and suffering, but Grey Cloak wants no part of his new role in the secret dragon war. So he pushes his reluctant brother to move on, and the brazen youths are determined to keep their dark secret to themselves while seeking a fortune of their own.

Detective Melegal remains neck deep in Royal Games, trying to hunt down the Slergs, who have Venir's son Brak in tow, as well as trying to enact his own personal vengeance on the Cleric Sefron. Mood the Blood Ranger and Fogle Boon have traveled deep into the bitter cold of the Nameless Mountains in hopes of finding a druid that can provide a cure for the dying two-headed dog, Chongo. But the mountains are full of dangers and surprises that even the brilliant mind of the mage Fogle Boon could never have anticipated.

A new future unfolds. After a harrowing escape from Urslay, the city of giants, Nath, Brenwar, and Selene find themselves in the sanctuary of the Elven Field of Dreams. The solitude and peace in the lush land offers refreshing waters but that does not last long. The wilder elves, guardians of the sanctuary, take Nath and company prisoner as he stands accused of murder. Bewildered by the accusation, Nath searches for the truth only to have Fang stolen while he lies abandoned in an inescapable prison.

Finding themselves neck-deep in a battle with the warmers, Nath and company seek to vanquish Nalzambor's greatest threat...the Titans. Eckubahn the Titan will stop at nothing to destroy the dragons and take over mankind. With the aid of the faerie Empress Lotuus, they rally the dragon-hating giants. In the meantime, Nath, Selene, Brenwar, Bayzog and Ben have their hands full battling one hive of warmers after another. The new menace is spreading too fast and dragon casualties are stacking up.

Together again and fighting their rivals, Grey Cloak and Dyphestive are tasked with stealing a valuable magical artifact from the crypts of the Monarch Castle. They must go undercover and infiltrate the enemy, and such a meticulous heist may be too difficult even for these brave brothers. Taking on unlikely and untrustworthy allies could result in their immediate deaths.

The newly reunited brothers, Grey Cloak and Dyphestive, deserve a break. After all, they spend their days and nights battling enemies who want to destroy them. It's exhausting and overwhelming for two youths who just crave some down time. But when their fiercest enemy launches a surprise attack, it puts all Sky Riders' lives in peril.
