All I wanted on my day off was to get some new ink and see the pretty tattoo artist who had been flirting with me during my last few sessions. I definitely didn’t expect to get teleported to an fantasy world filled with berserker zombies, fairies, and shapeshifters that lived in futuristic cities while oppressing the other races. I also didn’t expect my tattoos to come to life. And since most of them are weapons, it seems I am uniquely suited to fight. This world has already had an apocalypse, but maybe it’s time to start a revolution.

Ever since I discovered that I can kill magical creatures, trap their souls in precious gems, and use them to cast spells of my own, I haven’t had a moment’s rest. I have to balance my academics with learning how to use my powers and capture more souls in more gems to grow my spell collection. All the while avoiding angry aristocrats, nosy professors, criminal mobsters, and evil dwarves bent on destroying the civilized kingdoms. Luckily, I have some handy magic, a super awesome foxgirl and the hottest elven girl in school by my side, so nothing can stop me.

We escaped from New York City, but the mages are still hot on our heels. We’re heading west, to see a man about a gun. Actually, a lot of guns. Any gun I touch I can summon back, so I need to grow my arsenal to have a chance to fend off our pursuers and make it to the west coast. Unfortunately, we’ll have to traverse miles mutant-infested wilderness to get to our contact, and even if we make it through the mutant lands, the mages could easily be waiting for us on the other side. I’m definitely gonna need a lot of guns.

Tremendous. Tremendously tremendous. Tremendous in its tremendocity. That is how I would describe book four in the Arena series. I say so. Everyone says so. But mostly, I say so. My best friend, Marc Havak, who I hand-picked to represent the planet Earth in an interstellar gladiatorial competition, has kicked-butt and taken names, as I knew he would. Everyone I pick wins. And they win bigly. But this audiobook, wow, this one is amazing. Intense action with yours truly saving the day and telling these alien losers how much they suck? You're hired.

When aliens came to Earth and said they needed a winner, well, I was busy running America. Fantastically. So, the next best winner was Marc Havak. Through two books he's been funny, handsome, and beaten odds that would have made ordinary men cry like losers. This third book though, I'm telling you, this book is amazing. More of everything you love. Edge-of-your-seat alien battles on fantastic worlds? Win. Smoking hot alien babes who are total 10s? Win. Enough heart and guts from the main character to fill one of my incredible hotels? Win.
