Thunder Breaks in on Silence is one of those books that you like to read by the fire on a cold winter's night - or on an airplane when you're trying to tune out everything that is going on around you. This book has a lot of the poetry and prose that I've written over twenty plus years and details a little about my life growing up in the hills of Southern Ohio.

This book contains prose and poetry that covers about 25 years of my life - from 1990 through 2012. At least one of the poems was begun when I was 16 and completed after age 40 (With a Goat for a Horse). The prose includes essays written for college and to explain my views on several 'hot topic' subjects that pushed my buttons at the time. Warning - read with whatever grain of salt you are using to spice up your life. This book is not for everyone and may insult some. No apologies offered. Take it as it is and may your path always be clear to gain a clear understanding of yourself.
