Have you ever, out of anger, wished someone dead or hurt in some way? This is exactly what happened in the town of Deadington. Sarah Phillips was teased by the townspeople because of her hideous face from a fire that destroyed her family. Sarah was placed in a foster home where she was abused on a constant basis by the sons of the family she was living with. Sarah finally reached her boiling point one late night when she was running from her foster brothers fearing for her life. Sarah came upon a cabin in the woods and fell to her knees out of breath knowing in her heart this was probably the last time she would take her last breath.

Ted always dreamed that someday he would be a ventriloquist and that day finally arrived on his 50th birthday. One of his closest friends, Bob, decided since it was the big 50 and he would make his dream come true. Bob had his eyes on an antique ventriloquist dummy at his aunt's antique shop. He told her to put it on hold so he could surprise his good friend Ted at his birthday dinner tomorrow. Bob was excited to be able to make his buddy Ted's dream come true. Bob gave his aunt the money for the dummy and got it gift wrapped.

Reverend Jesse West and his family resided in a town called Jacksport for the past thirty years and were well known in town. The Reverend's wife taught bible school to young children at her husband's church while he wowed all the members of the church. The Reverend knew his bible inside and out and always helped anyone in need. Money was pouring in every Sunday and things were really looking good for the West family, but the Reverend West had a dark side nobody knew about not even his wife.

Henry loved his family so much he just couldn't bear to put them in the cold ground when they died knowing that would be the last time he would ever get to see and feel their warm embrace. Henry never told his wife Jane his true feelings about if her or their kids passed on what would happen to them, so he kept his secret bottled up inside. Years passed and one by one Henry's three children and wife died under mysterious circumstances.

Dr. Phillips was an archaeologist that had a hunger for finding the big one, meaning a dig that would put him in history books. But Dr. Phillips wasn't a very patient man and if anyone got in his way of finding something worth celebrating, they were a dead man.

One night, while Dr. Phillips was reading his newspaper and smoking his pipe, he came across an interesting article that said there was a dig deep in the jungles of Africa, but no one has been able to recover the artifacts--only to die trying.

Thompsons run down Inn John and Betty Ford always dreamed of returning back to their hometown and owning Mr.. John was wealthy, so he had plenty of money to buy out Mr. Thompsons Inn and fix it up to modern times. Since it's been over 20 years since they spoke to Mr. Thompson, things have changed drastically at the Inn. That's not all that changed as they were about to find out the hard way when Mr. Thompson handed the Ford's the keys to room number 13.

Just over the hill was this little town called Eadondale with a population of 125. Eadondale had one church, one school, one bank and one restaurant. Eadondale may not be as big as a big city, but if you ever came to visit you would think otherwise. Everyone left their doors to their house unlocked. Everyone smiled and waved to any stranger that came through this small town. Legend has it that during the mid-1800s the Clanton brothers were considered some of the roughest outlaws that the west has ever known. It is said that one night they set up camp in the mountains after a stage coach robbery and as they were counting the stolen money around the campfire, they were ambushed by another gang of outlaws known as the Smith and Wesson brothers.

Dr. Worthington purchased Bentley Mansion with stolen money he got from the banks he robbed in another state. The mansion was fully furnished with medieval torture devices kept down in the basement of the mansion. He had a plan to pose as a doctor and lure doctors from the local hospital and have parties at his mansion to show off his collection of medieval torture devices to his guests. Sometimes he would put his guests in the devices and take their pictures to put in his photo album.

Sarah and Dan Majors tried everything to have a child, but were unsuccessful until they answered an ad in the local newspaper. The Majors said, "What the Hell. We've tried everything else; why not give this a shot?" What the Hell is right. The Majors prayers would be answered from Hell. The Major's got in their car and headed to their destination with high hopes to put an end to the many years of failed pregnancies. Their destination would lead them deep into the mountains to a Witch Doctor that lives in a cave.

Jack and Brenda Stevens found the perfect home to start a new family, but were unaware of the home's past. Being a young couple with two children and big dreams, they couldn't care less if the house had a past or not. The only thing on their mind was raising a family in this beautiful Victorian home. The house had a strange odor, but they just thought it was because the house was old. Jack's wife, Brenda, thought once they moved in and did some renovations, the odor would diminish. She was dead wrong. This was one odor that wouldn't be leaving even if the place burnt to the ground.

Jim Harrington just inherited his uncle's mansion, located in the country, on an isolated road, with 1,000 acres of mostly wooded land. The closest neighbor was about two miles down the old gravel road from the farm. The mansion was pretty run down and needed a lot of work to make it livable again. Since Jim was a handy man, this was right up his alley. Jim never knew the real reason his uncle died. The lawyer told Jim at the reading of the will that he died of a heart attack. So Jim didn't question it, and just signed the papers, ready to take on this big responsibility ahead of him.

Sally Edwards didn't have many friends at Gravendale High School. Whenever Sally tried out for sports she would be picked on by her classmates because she was a tomboy. Sally had buck teeth and matted hair and slurred her speech. She also wore the same clothes to school every day. Sally was poor and was being raised by her alcoholic grandfather who didn't have long to live, maybe weeks at best. When her classmates got wind of the passing of her grandfather the following week they started picking on her pretty hard.

Sam Edwards was a wealthy, lonely man who lived all alone in his mansion. Sam was in his late 40s and tired of not having a companion to share his wealth with. He decided he'd check out the bar scene and see if he could find a lady with the same interests as his. Sam hopped in his Rolls Royce not caring that it was a stormy night. Sam pulled into Mack's Tavern, ready to find his dream lady. He grabbed his umbrella popped it open as he stepped out of his car and walked up to the door, where he shook the rain off of his umbrella underneath the canopy.

Brian, Susan, and Tim liked to get together on Friday the 13th and play the Dare game in a cemetery that dated back to the 19th century in the woods behind Tim's house. But, when they got together on this coming Friday the 13th, their game was about to take a fatal turn for them all.
