Wizard scouts are the elite, deep-recon forces of the Intergalactic Empire. They are a mix of technology and magic-like abilities. Richard has been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become one of these legendary soldiers. All he has to do is make it through the Wizard Scout Academy. But with a TAC officer who hates his guts, will he even be allowed to graduate. To make matters worse, the Empire has been attacked and soon finds itself in a major war.

Now it seems only wizard scout Richard Shepard and his friends stand ready to defend the Empire and their allies in the magic dimension against certain destruction. The forces of darkness have in their possession a key that can open a gate to the demonic plane that will unleash armies of nightmare creatures on unsuspecting civilizations.

The message from the past is clear. Two elf friends must die. Giants disappeared from the planet Portalis 16,000 years ago, yet they may well hold the key to saving three galaxies from certain destruction by the massed demon hordes. In a last ditch effort to save all that is good in the universe, Wizard Scout Richard Shepard and his friends are given missions in the past to find the missing keys necessary to stop the demons once and for all. Whether they will be able to succeed depends on their internal fortitude and courage in the face of incredible odds.

With a deadly Crosioian scout hot on his trail, Richard soon finds himself stuck with a couple of super-genius children who may hold a secret that could mean the salvation or destruction of three galaxies.

The day of the Great Battle has finally arrived as the forces of light and dark face off in one last desperate attempt that will seal the fate of the three galaxies. As armies of demons, angels, humans, elves, gnomes, dwarves, spirit-animals, and dragons clash, mortals and immortals alike struggle for survival. Armored assault vehicles and soldiers equipped with advanced technology weapons fight shoulder to shoulder alongside magic users and elves wielding swords and spears. Above it all, fleets of space-going dreadnaughts slug it out in the cold vacuum of space for domination.

Richard is only in his junior year at the Academy, but it may well be his last. The war with the bat-like Crosioians is straining the resources of the Intergalactic Empire to the breaking point. Every soldier is needed on the front lines to stave off the Empire's destruction. Not to mention politicians are eyeing the Academy as a financial drain that can no longer be justified. To top things off, teams of spell-wielding magic users have been spotted reconnoitering near the Academy.

The fate of three galaxies hangs in the balance as two massive space armadas assemble. With each side intent on the complete destruction of the other, the only sure thing is heavy losses along with acts of bravery that are beyond anyone’s right to expect. As the opposing fleets battle for existence, Wizard Scout Richard Shepard, his battle computer Nick, and the elf high priestess Jeena seek out dragon allies in the magical dimension who may hold the key to the success of battles past, present, and future.

Despite stringent security protocols, the tactical computers of some of the Ultra-Heavy Ambulatory Assault Vehicles on the planet have been revolting and killing their crews. Jake’s task is to find out the cause before it spreads to other parts of the Empire.

Seventeen-year-old Tess has been dragged from one town to another ever since her mother died in a plane crash eight years ago. She is convinced special powers contained within the ring her mother passed on to her as the burning plane went down kept her alive while others died. Fiercely independent, Tess is determined to carve out a better life for herself. Desperate to earn a scholarship for college, she finds herself strangely drawn to a local football hero who is her complete opposite.
