I listened to the first book and though it was dark , I thought the second would get a little more romantic and less Dominant and dark. I find Braeden mean, humiliating and not romantic at all. After the Steele books I thought I would like this series. I guess being too dominant, demeaning, and just plain mean is not my jam. I will finish the next book , as I’ve already Pre ordered it ,and hope that there is something in there that appeals to me.

am I going to get the 3rd book? duh. the writer leaves things in a cliff hanging and now that I'm hooked, I want to know more.

After finishing the second book, one thing has me love this book more then the first. the main characters isnt some disty girly girl who needs a man. she is a women who didn't need one, and now finds that she does once she has one. I still don't know why on gods green earth the main characters are in love. it just seems like passion.

If you wanted a sex book, you'll have sex every chapter. Which is great, but the story doesn't really make much sense. the plot is a women losing herself. Honestly, it just feels like she is growing but maybe that's the lession.

I already know if you read the first book you're going to want to read this to find out the secret. sorry, you won't learn it here yet. however it's still a fun ride.
