did not care for the female voice. the book has a lot of tropes. the writing isn't that creative and this reads like a youth book. the thing that really kills it for me is the child bride. if you do the math, the bride is 15y/o which is a bit young for this kind of content.

The FMC is kinda ... robotic? it feels unnatural honestly. their are times when it's not. The MMC is how I expect most Alpha men to sound. The story is good. even if I called the bad guy at the beginning. all in all buy the book. the spice is top tier.

After reading book 1 Pride, I was motivated to keep reading more stories from Bianca Cole. Although the BDSM theme crafts Hook’s storyline in book 2, he is a sweet lover striving to win her heart.
Their relationship development dominates the plot throughout the story and most chapters, I would have enjoyed more side thriller and drama around the romance. The narrators did an outstanding performance!

The story was fine, not as good as Pride was though. I gave the performance 5 stars for Troy Duran. The fmc, who's name I already forgot, was REALLY hard to listen to. I had to stop listening for a while and I almost didn't finish it because the story was just ok, and the female narrator just really bothered me for some reason. I've read several books from this author and I've enjoyed almost all of them so I'm sure I'll keep reading her stuff.
