I love a good second generation book!!! This book was so good, the second I started listening to it I couldn’t stop! The narrators did an amazing job on this book. You have your total bad A FMC and a swoon worthy MMC and they work so perfectly together! 10/10!

Ryan, oh Ryan he stole my heart. He was adorably unhinged and I loved it! Not wanting to give in to the future planned for him he did things to make sure it wouldn't happen. At times he was very careless with his safety but Pippi changed that for him. She herself wanted freedom and also didn't want the future planned for her. Ryan does a lot of questionable stuff but always with one end goal in mind, Pippi his partner in crime. I absolutely love how they were free to be themselves when together. I think Ryan will always be my favorite Cardell from now on. Sorry Xavier.

Ryan is such a good MMC stuck in a bad place but uses his abilities to win the woman he loves and is so unhinged for her. I loved this read.

I very much enjoyed this book, my one and only complaint would be the use of the word hump. "he humped into her" If it was just once I wouldn't bring it up but it was used several times. With that said I enjoyed it enough to give it 5 stars!
