I love the og Red Night of course but this SE with both Marissa's and Xavier's POVs, is sooo good! The narrators did a great job!

The audio for this is so good! The narrators really brought the characters to life. Sean did an amazing job with Xavier’s character - from his charming moments to well…wild unhinged behavior, we get such a good range. Aisling really captured all of Marissa’s different emotions - especially THAT scene (IYKYK.)

I loved this special edition! We get to see inside Xavier’s head!! We see more about how he stepped right into Marissa’s life. Like any good morally grey anti-hero Xavier does have some sweet moments but he makes some very questionable decisions. What are his true intentions? Does he even truly care for Marissa?

Like any good dark romance this story is full of spice and suspense and twists I didn't see coming. There are definitely scenes that pushed me out of my comfort zone (even reading this for the second time!) but that is what I want in a dark romance book and part of what makes it so fun to read!!

The story is very fast paced, pretty spicy, and has a morally grey MMC who helps the FMC grow and realize her worth and helps her to be better. The narrators did a great job with this one! I don’t normally go for the Dual narration, but I am happy I did because it was still a great one to listen to!

Holy. Freaking. Hell. This audiobook was PHENOMENAL! I fell in love with this book when it first came out, and fell in love all over again, hearing Xavier and Marissa come to life!

Xavier is completely over-the-top and unhinged- so of course I’m in love with him.
Sean Masters was the perfect voice for this character, I seriously could not have picked anyone better! The certifiable, extreme levels of manipulation, power he exudes, and extreme obsession checked all of the boxes on the book BF list. And Aisling did such a great job with Marissa, making me completely believe every moment of pain, lust, and bliss.
The spice was perfection and the insane twists and turns will have you hooked!
