I want a Scottish Brute!

I loved this book. It was the perfect amount of sex and mystery, although it took a bit for any of the mystery to take shape. Daisy is a bad ass! She is the perfect strong female lead. It was so refreshing to have a FC that through the MC’s lies, never taking no for an answer instead of the “I don’t know if he really likes me so I need to guard my heart” bit!
Ben was equally intriguing! Wanting to love Daisy but not feeling deserving but he never denied his attraction and like Daisy knew how she felt the entire time. And that accent… drool and fireworks! It was endearing how everyone around them could see their love blossoming.

Excellent Read

Jolie’s books always deliver the best steam, intrigue and development of her characters. This audiobook was perfectly narrated and made it a joy to “reread” in audio form.

Fun story! A great teaser for my own trip to Scotland

This book is a great tease. The plot got better a few chapters in. Excellent narration!

One of my favorite Jolie Vines books

I loved this book. First of all the narration is excellent.. narrators are perfect and it is in duet style!
This is a sweet story. While there is some angst and stress, it is not over the top and exactly what I needed. There is a good plot and plenty of spice. i really liked both of the main characters, Ben and Daisy. I don't think there's really anything negative I can say so, I'm giving it five stars all the way around.
The series is an interconnected standalone. You can read this and not feel that you absolutely have to continue on with the series, but the epilogue contains a cliffhanger for the second couple that will be in book two,... which I have purchased already.And will start listening to today🙂
