Heather Myles isn't exactly thrilled to accompany her groupie roommate to an Emerald Phoenix concert. The aspiring screenwriter would rather be home with a good book. I liked the story line and loved the narration, but I felt an epilogue was needed at the end. I wanted to know what became of the crazy heiress. And what happened with their careers afterwards.

Misadventures with a Rockstar was another great read by Helen Hardt. Heather accompanies her roomate to a concert of one of the biggest bands in the country. She didn't really want to go and would rather be at home with a good book. Jett is the lead singer of the band and issn't really into the party scene anymore. He never expected that the quiet girl would catch his eye. Unfortunately for them a secret that he holds can destroy their future. I really enjoyed Heather and Jett's story and can't wait to read more by Helen Hardt.

4.5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!!!

Whoa there! I was not expecting this story at all. Having only read a few of the Misadventures series, I saw that Helen Hardt was coming out with her own installment and I quickly signed up to review. I was expecting your typical rockstar romance but Helen Hardt surprised me with this story. Yes you have the typical debauchery that is common amongst that genre but the twists and turns really set this one apart from the rest. Helen Hardt put her stamp on it and brought us a great story that I was happily lost in for a few hours. My only complaint was the ending. I wanted just a little more. An epilogue would have been great to see how things turned out for all characters in the end. I'm left with some questions but not enough that I feel the story was left incomplete. I'm just being greedy and my usual bookwhore self.

I’ve listened to the narrators for this book in other audiobooks, the voice for Heather has done a great job with her character. The voice for Jett on the other hand is probably more well suited for nonfiction publications. His voice is really good, it’s just that some of the inflections sound awkward or overdone. Like it’s more for a suspenseful scene than a romance story.
