I enjoyed the ebook and now the audiobook. We have a Stalker Alpha that gifts mushrooms and different needed items. It's another good Omega verse story. I liked the narrating too. I think the differences in cultures between the monsters and the surrounding villages.

Stalker-ish monster in this one.

Another quick fun and hot installment to the series. I liked hearing more of the monster's POV from the beginning. This narrator sounded much more exuberant than the last but really embodied the obsessive qualities written in to the monster and really made his character come alive. I'm intrigued and looking forward to listening to the next one.

I loved this series when I first started reading them years ago (original ebook review below), and excited the books are being made into audiobooks. I'm also fascinated that they're each narrated by different narrators (I'm used to the same narrator throughout a series even if they're voicing different characters). So I'm looking forward to experiencing them all.

Monster's Obsession was one of my favorites, so I started here. Sacha Husband is a new-to-me narrator and I thought he did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. I liked his voice for Mel'cam and was able to get quite growly at times.

Original ebook review 10/23/22-

I loved this book! Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved the setting of the story and especially the characters. Mel'cam wanted to find an omega mate of his own after his brother had claimed one. As soon as he lays eyes on Meaghan, he knows she's the one for him. Meaghan is an omega, but curvy rather than thin and graceful like the other omega in the village that all the alphas wanted. She didn't want any of them and was determined not to settle. But when an alpha begins leaving [useful] presents for her on her doorstep, she longs for him. I really loved Mel'cam. He was dead-set in his claim, but sweet and caring in his own way (I loved the presents) and very protective and insistent. But when it counted, there was a vulnerability to him in wanting her acceptance in spite of being the monster she would have been warned against. I couldn't get enough of this book and couldn't put it down. My only complaint is I didn't want it to end where it did. I wanted to see at least a little of their life together. I hope there will be a sequel! 5 stars.

This is a short, steamy story with a monster MMC who is obsessed, stalkery and full of red flags, but also sort of sweet in the way he tries to provide for his omega.
