While performing on stage, Chloe ends up throwing a drink on Silas. He climbs on stage to punish her bottom - bare in front of the audience. He exposed her but not himself. I am not sure who he is but the mafia heads seem to fear him. He is a powerful man. He was ex-CIA but not mafia. This book has a very strong Dom theme. The first quarter of the book is one long s&x scene. He knows who she is and makes her live in his penthouse for her protection. He was brutal, almost abusive. How would he feel if someone spanked his c%ck then made him use it for s&x while it still hurts. I love how when one of the mafia families kidnapped Chloe, she escaped before they even got where they were going. The book had a nice ending though and Silas got a little better, but just as abusive, as the book went on. Dahlia Lynde did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

this audiobook was absolutely fantastic and loved the narrator's voice and storyline flowed throughout the book and was smoking hot and steamy.

Boy this was such a hard book to finish. This book was more power and abuse. I could of lived without ever reading this book. This was an extremely frustrating and outrageous story line. What a huge waste of my time.
