This headline sums up this terrific audio book! This is everything a romantic mafia adventure requires: Superb narration, an enthralling plot with romance woven in. Kudos to Piper Stone as well as Daphne Hill and Thomas Locklear. There is an actual storyline in this book which held my interest. The romance is spot on. Great acting by Daphne with all the right inflections; Thomas' growly voice is super sexy. Looking forward to listening to the next book!

Delaney is a successful model. She steps out of her comfort zone and goes to a club only to be stalked. She finally loses her stalker (so she thinks) and returns home. Returning the next day to find her roommate brutally slaughtered with a message left for her written on the wall. She decides to return to New Orleans until the murderer is captured.

Francois Thibodeaux is a member of the Thibodeaux Family Crime Syndicate and is put in charge of keeping Delaney safe while her father takes care of business in Europe. He has known Delaney nearly all her life and a trusted friend of her father.

This book is filled with angst, passion and constant surprises. Just when you think they are safe, they aren’t. It also has an adorable fur baby character which imo steals the show! The book will keep you guessing and on your toes in suspense right up til the last word!

I recommend! You will love the narrators who bring the characters to life!

Might be my favorite Piper Stone Book yet! So much danger and action i could barely catch my breath. Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Both narrators were amazing. Thomas is incredible as usual but Daphne was a wonderful surprise. Cant wait for next book!
