You know a good dark romance when you are mentally begging the heroine to understand his cruelty. Good story, great kinky sex, and some actually well written and interesting mafia plot lines!

Now about the narrator, his tone is unique and very gravely which fits for this story. However personally he speaks too slow for the action of the book. If you have the same feeling try 1.2X speed. Made all the difference for me to get into the story

Piper Stone can definitely write an intriguing story! I have gotten where I really enjoy dark mafia romances! The twists and turns...the up and down emotions!! They keep you on edge. You never know what's going to happen next. This story keeps you that way! And Jack has the sexiest voice!😜😍🔥❗
